Bonfire cake
Sunday, 26 July 2009

I enjoyed the three hour drive to Albany as I plotted out ideas for the third book as well as planning chapter 12 of The Cleanest Cut. Its nice to have time to yourself, no kids, and your choice of music! So here I was happily signing books in Albany. Big thanks to Aunty Ida

Albany here I come
Thursday, 23 July 2009

This is my gorgeous little nephew Joseph taking a looksie at the new book on his latest visit back to the farm. He’s a bright spark this one and just adorable. (I’m a very proud aunty can you tell.) Another future farmer no doubt, just like his daddy.

Burning, burning …
Thursday, 18 June 2009
Most farmers have finished burning long ago, but this local farmer was having trouble getting through the thick straw with his seeder so he had to try and burn some of it. You can barely see the CBH bin through the heat haze.
